Ok...Once upon a time in 1989 Commodore Magazine held a graphics
contest. The winning pics were shown in the June 1989 issue. The
winning picture (on the Amiga end of the contest) was a picture called
'Cybernetic Player' (by Felix Rodrigez Larreta). It's wasn't bad, but
there was an AWESOME runner up picture called 'Cold Steel' (by DeWayne
Stauffer). I tried to run down a copy of it but never could find
one (I thought it might have been released into the Fish library
or something). Well, a couple of months back I was cleaning up my
room and found that old Commodore magazine....and decided to make
an object of the sword in the 'Cold Steel' picture.
I would like to complement Mr. Stauffer on his artwork. I might be
able to make an object of the sword, but I could never draw anything
like that freehand.
If you want trade ideas, objects, brushes, pics, or send me a million
dollars (just kidding on that last one), then send me a drop me a letter
or call me at:
